Anything else like The Mercator?

I see that The Mercator is going into the vault.  I'm half tempted to get it, because it has nice visuals and could plausibly be either a human or an alien vehicle (I can imagine it being used by the same culture that built Sci-fi Artifact Jet, or by the T'au from Warhammer). Bit its obviously very, very old, and lacks a lot of functionality that even many of the other very old models have.

Are there any similar styled vehicles with more functionality?  Preferably an opening canopy at least.
