I have DAZ on an external 2 terabyte drive and it is almost filled to capacity. I was looking to buy another laptop but 2 terabytes is the largest hard drive that they come with. If I want to stick with a laptop for ease of moving it from one room to another, what are my options. Is there a relaible small external drive that is 3 or 4 terabytes?
Right now I am using this --> https://www.bestbuy.com/site/sandisk-2tb-external-usb-3-2-gen-2-type-c-portable-solid-state-drive/6486262.p?skuId=6486262&ref=212&loc=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI36uqrKDY9wIVa8mUCR2UDwxyEAYYAiABEgJnSvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
anything that size but in 3 or 4 tb?

I followed your link and saw this --> https://www.bestbuy.com/site/sandisk-extreme-portable-4tb-external-usb-c-nvme-solid-state-drive/6472036.p?skuId=6472036 ... even price'er but smaller. I think that's what I'm gonna have to do.
If you are willing to use a mechanical hard drive, these are a lot less expensive and do not require a seperate power supply:

What's the pros and cons
If you are buying a new laptop. Some will have Support for an NVme SSD drive. Along with a regular SSD drive also. So you might be able to just insert an extra drive.
