New DAZ Studio 4.8 release - where is the iray content

Just installed the new 4.8 , the public beta build came with iray content support which had a sun & sky light and some basic Iray Shader

the shaders and lights are in the new studio 4.8 documentation as included with daz studio

if it is in the New DAZ Studio 4.8 release where in the daz is where is it located

    It's not up yet...be patient, they are working on it.

    The public beta shaders and lights package is available (for the public beta) but we had a minor setback on releasing the final package for the release version of 4.8. You should see a Lights and shaders package become available by tomorrow along with updated interactive lessons. Sorry for the wait!

    Being that I haven't gotten around to installing that 970 card I bought a week ago to support this yet, I can wait :P Procrastination sometimes has its uses.

    I'm guessing I'll have to update my NVIDIA card to get the best performance from Iray. What specs are recommended? Thanks in advance.

    The 4.8.0.55 showed up in my DIM as a Public Beta update yesterday. Is it the same as the General release of same version or do I need to download the actual general release?

    Yes, you probably do need to do the /General release...there are a couple of changes (not to the files) that make it a general release and not a beta. This way the DIM will be able to keep track of it and update it properly.
