Do I have to un-install 4.7, before installing 4.8?

    If you manually downloaded it, the unistaller should run when you run the installer for the new version.

    If you are using the DIM, it will uninstall the old version then install the new one (but it won't remove the beta, unless you tell it to).

    I unsinstalled the beta version of the beta 4.8 Daz Studio, but just from my Application folder on my Mac, I wonder if all was removed.
    Install Manager did not ask me if I want to remove the beta version, so I hope I have the latest version. hmmm

    Start DAZ Studio, then go to Help > About DAZ Studio, and that will show you the exact version number that you are running.

    It should be 4.8.0.55
