Alt-Click (reset parameter) scope - Change to current frame only?

I use alt-clicking on some parameters (or otherwise invoking the reset function) a lot, but this also necessitates saving multiple files for different parts of the same scene, because...

These functions zero out the entire timeline for whichever thing I do it to.

Does anyone know of a way of setting alt-click (or using some modifier key) to affect only the current frame?
