Character looks floating

I'm trying rendering a scene with HDRI lighting, it is set Dome and Scene on Environment tab, when I render, my character looks floating a fex inches from the ground.
I set my character " Y translate" to a value under 0, something like -1.5, but it is still floating.
Is there a way to avoid the floating effect and put the character standing in the ground?

    This is being discussed in the another thread, but by default Daz Studio adjusts the floor plane so that it is below the lowest part of the mesh - presumably another part of the figure, or clothing, or some other element is below the zero plane. if you turn the floor placement to manual and zero it you may well find it then works.
