Non-dForce skirt/dress problem when conforming - odd fold at hem

This seems to apply to most non-dForce dresses and skirts when used with standing poses that have G8F's legs relatively close together but not touching (see attached image). It might also be a factor that I have been using some tall and slender characters and petite figures such as TJ7 for TJ8. I have tried some remedial actions with Fit Control, with only minor improvements. Can anyone suggest now I might remove/smooth out these unsightly creases?

Is that an AutoFiited skirt, or one made via the Transfer Utility? I'm afraid the answer is probably going to be edit the weight maps, and perhaps add some morphs, if so - although you could try setting the type in AutoFit or template in the Transfer Utility to dress or skirt if you have such an option.
