Can V4 3delight clothing be converted into Iray?

So I wanted to use a pair of 3delight boots and gloves on a g3f character which she is all Iray.
Is it possible to turn V4 3delight clothing shaders to be Iray? If so then is it complex? Thanks.

Any surface can be given an Iray shader, if they are currently using one of the standard 3Delight shders (which most content will be) then DS will convert them at render time, attempting to match behaviour, or you cana pply the Iray Uber Base and then adjust settings.
I think you should be able to apply the uber shader to any object in you viewport and add iray shaders / materials to the items and you should be set. Pretty sure you get several base shaders with Daz 4.x so you don't have to spend money to do this. So for boots and gloves you can load them on a new character and do the following:
1. Select boots in you scene and surfaces tab, you can bring up surfaces from Windoes - pane(s). Note: if you use the surfaces selection tool there are usually several surfaces on an object.
2. In smart content select Materials - default resourses - Shaders (this is below materials in left menu for me) - !Iray Uber Base.
3. Expand shaders and expand Iray to view Iray options - Leather. Remember that you can change the color of the item by selecting a different color in the base color tab on you surfaces tab.
This is super basic, but you can go really crazy with all the options available mixing and matching shaders on you surfaces.
There are tons off YouTube videos on how to do this that probably explain way better than me, but the short answer is yes. You can make any object or surface in Daz render with iray.
There are also various converters available here and at renderosity, maybe other places.
Alright thanks guys :)
It's a mesh; you can assign it any shader you like, either in Studio - from those available, or in some other package.
