Genesis 2 Female

Trouble

I am a devoted Poser user and have worked with V4 since she came out. I would like to try the Genesis 2 female but don't have a clue what I need or if she only works in DAZ Studio.

Would someone take pity on me and explain exactly what products I need to work with the Genesis 2 female?

Genesis 2 Female is designed to work in DAZ Studio natively but it can be used in Poser 9+ with the DSON importer for Poser - http://www.daz3d.com/dson-importer-for-poser

To get the Genesis 2 Female starter essentials, you need to get DAZ Studio 4.8 via the store - http://www.daz3d.com/daz-studio-4-pro - it comes with some hair and clothes yo get you started

Like Victoria 4, where you had Aiko4 as an addon character morph, Genesis 2 Female has a lot of DAZ "base" shapes such as Victoria 6, Aiko 6, Stephanie 6, The Girl 6, Callie 6, Keiko 6, Monique 6, Olympia 6 and more.

And then there are there are other character packs in the store that may or may not be built off of one of those above shapes so it would be required to use the character to its fullest. The store page states the requirements.

Best part of Genesis 2 Female over Victoria 4 (in DAZ Studio) is the fact that clothing fit extremely well between the vast number of character for it. Also, it is very easy to mix different character shapes together to make a more unique and custom look

The DSON Importer also includes the various Genesis ... Starter Essentials packages.
