DIM wants to Install over 4000 items

When I opened DAZ Install manager today it wanted to install over 4000 items. These are already installed! I do not know what has gone wrong! Cheers

    That sounds as if the Manifests folder may have been moved or removed, assuming nothing now shows as installed.

    My computer returned from an upgrade. I have my DAZ Runtimes/Content on a portable hard drive. It has a different drive number than the previous one. How do I get the manifest back? Cheers

    If your manifest folder was installed in the standard location for a windows computer   c: / users / public / public documents / daz 3d / installmanager / manifest  (or maybe manifestfiles) /

    This should have a tiny file for every product you have installed. It sounds like your upgrade may have effected this.

    Assuming you are using Windows 10 (or, I think, 11 but that has made some things harder to reach) right-click on the Windows logo button (the Start button as-was) and select Disc Management, then right-click on the drive in the list in the top section and select Change Drive Letter and paths - you can then click the Change button in the dialogue to select a new letter.

    Fixed!!! Many thanks for all your advice. I looked where the manifest was going looking for data and changed the drive ID. Cheers
