How creating remoted parameter dials ?

How do I set up remoted parameter, so that one parameter slider controls other parameters?
I think it is called ERC. It's easy to do in Poser with the dependency editor. There must be something similar in DS. I have set up a custom character, made of a combination of self made morphs and several content morphs. It all ended up in a chaos of several different morphs. In order for better organization, I'd like to have those parameters remoted by a single new custom parameter dial.
So how to do that in DS4.8?
Thank you

Right-click on the Parameters pane and from the menu set it to Edit Mode.

Right-click again and select Create New Property - set the path to the Actor/... one used for morphs on your figure; set the Type to Modifier/Shape; probably set the Minimum to 0 instead fo -1; click Accept. Set the value to 1

Assuming your morphs are set as you want, and everything else is zeroed, right-click on the new slider and select ERC Freeze. Check that only the required properties are listed at the bottom, and that your new property is listed as the controller - assuming all is well click Accept

If you just want the morph on the one instance of the figure that it - save as a scene subset or as a scene. for future use. If you want the morph controller to be available on all future instances of the figure (assuming this is Genesis or another TriAx figure) got to File>Save as>Support Assets>Morph Asset, set the names (which control the folder names in the Data folder) as desired, check your new morph and Accept.

So, the first thing works, but how to delete a slider permanentley? When trying to create morphs, some of my created property sliders are faulty. How to delete them? The comand "delete selected property" doesn't do it permanentley. After restarting DS the faulty Property slider reappears.

So that ERC-freeze thing seems to be unforgiven. once established, I can not get rid of faulty creations.

If you saved the morph as an asset you need to delete the file from from the Data folder. For example, for Genesis 2 Female you'd go to Data\DAZ 3D\Genesis 2\Female\Morphs\Author\Product\Morph.dsf where Author and product are the names you gave while saving and Morph is the property name.

O.K. thank you, got it. It didn't work at first. I've allready deleted those *.dsf files, but the morphs were still there. The reason why it didn't work was, that the character files were doubled. Once in a folder with a custom name, once in an upper folder, because I havn't set a name when trying the first time. Now I have edited the correct file and it works. Thank you. :-)

Thanks Richard,  Sort of just what I was looking for. Can it be used for eg the general translate, rotate and scale parameters as well to create dialable "poses"?

    Yes.

Hey, thanks for the fast response Richard.  Always my lodestart. And Great! re the capability - is it straight forward to do for multiple bones in the rig conflated into one dial or slider?  Will be awesome if it can.

Yes, just get everythign set, create the new slider, set tit to 1 (or a100%, depending on display setting) and do the ERC Freeze.
