Need Iray Help

I'm trying to do a render in Iray.
I have a Genesis Figure, she has a pattern on her skin texture that I want to emit light. I have the an ambient map with the pattern that I think I can use to get the desired affect, I just have no clue as to where to load it.
I thought it would be Emission profile but its not. Where would you apply an ambient map on the Iray Surfaces?

You need to set Emissive colour to something other than black, then plug your map into that and adjust the settings which will have appeared for Luminance and Temperature.
There were two before
Ambient Color and Ambient Strength
is that where would you insert the one that would be used as the Ambient Strength as well?
We’ve also created a pointer page that shows various threads on Iray that have been very helpful. Rather than start new Iray pages, please check these sources first since it keeps the places to look for information simplified. These are also pages where many Iray users have been discussing Iray topics and so may be much more helpful to you. When there are dozens of threads, one forgets where they saw what and information may be posted that is very helpful but gets missed.

Have you applied the Iray Emissive shader already?
Yes, that's the first thing I did.
Ambient is fake indirect light, it isn't used and doesn't have an equivalent in a renderer like Iray. There you have to set the surface to really emit light, so the settings are different but applying the map to the Emissive colour should work.
I was unable to get the result I wanted so I cheated and bought the real lights shader set and that worked really nice.
I am getting a problem where some of the lines in the displacement map come out jagged. No idea what the issue could be. The tiles offset is at default levels.
One possible cause...texture compression. Bump, displacement, normal and other control maps shouldn't be compressed.
Another...if it is spanning different areas...like the face is one level, the torso another and the limbs are a third level...the maps aren't actually matching, for 'base' color.
This is whats going on.
