Okay. I searched for this but found no information.
A friend told me I was wasting a ton of time rendering whole scenes when I made tiny changes in Daz.
So, I tried to spot render the portion I needed.
I went up to Tools, chose Spot Render, highlighted the section I wanted to render and off it went. Unfortunately, after it went through everything and seemed to render, it left me no way to save it.
I saved as a scene but that didn't work. I saved the "last drawing" but that did nothing. I looked in my render library where renders usually save, but Nada.
So, is it possible to save spot renders and if so, how?
I'm running Daz 4.9 on Windows 7.
Thanks

Open the tool settings pane and switch to "new window", then it will render like normal instead of in the viewport. I would imagine File -> Save Last Render would also work, but I haven't tried it.
Under the Tool Settings, make sure Spot Render is selected. There are two options, "Viewport" and "New Window". Select "New Window" and a (surprise, surprise) new window will pop up with just the highlighted portion of the viewport rendered. Bing, bang, boom...there yah go!
