I've been looking for a good formal shoulder-to-hip sash model for V4 (like the "order sashes" worn by royalty and aristocrats) but just about all of those kinds of sashes that are available are for M4. Can anyone help?

    This worked for V4

    http://www.renderosity.com/mod/freestuff/details.php?item_id=7904

I was aware of this but didn't know it worked with V4; from the description, I thought it was made for P4 figures and would require something like Clothes Converter or XDresser to convert to something wearable by V4.

I thought some of you might like to see how the new morgue prop (embalming machine/pump) that Patience55 made for me yesterday looks in various states. The first picture shows, from left to right; (1) the prop in its original size; (2) reduced to 65%, which is about the right proportion for the set I plan to use it on; (3) with the glass jar texture changed to simulate a "full" state; (4) the prop positioned on a trolley from the "Eerie Morgue" set. The second picture shows the "empty" and "full" props posed on my homemade/kitbashed mortuary set.

I think I've worked out how to lengthen the hose on the pump, but I'm still ciphering out how to add the injection device to the end and make the hose posable; I have a thread ongoing on the question in Hexagon Discussions.

    That's interesting.

You might like to nab my "Rope Necklace" and check out the .cr2 file. Bring the .obj into Hexagon, reposition the parts, export it back out to your Geometry folder and in D/S4, rig it "legacy" style. Using the joint editor carefully adjust the bones and export out your new .cr2 file to your folder in the Character folder of the same Runtime.

OK, just got it. I'll have a hack at rigging it - again, this'll be my first time doing anything like that - later today after work. I assume I'd find the rigging menu in the Editor, right? I took a look around for it yesterday while I was noodling around (ha!) with the original hose and didn't see anything offhand in DS that looked like a rigging menu, but then I wasn't really looking for it at that point.

It seems like there's always SOMETHING I can't find when I need to.... I'm in need of a coin purse/pouch kind of thing that I can sit on a table. Just a simple little fabric/leather sack with a tie would be ideal. I've searched everywhere I know to look, but it seems impossible to me that there isn't one somewhere, so I thought I'd ask.

You'll probably have to parent it like a prop instead of conforming it, but if you do it should work well enough.

You could probably throw a transmap on the sash that comes with this and get it to work pretty well. http://www.sharecg.com/v/49683/View/11/Poser/Roses-Fantasy-Elegance

I'd already found this, but yes, it'll likely work well enough - better than the P4 one, because I need something that will conform to the figure as it's put in different poses. I'm a complete novice still at altering things - all I really know how to do in that line is change an item's basic colors and swap out textures in Editor - so I need to learn how to set up transmaps.

Figure set-up tools actually. Will put together a mini-tut and hopefully have it posted sometime today for you.

    Hi,

So, I'm looking for a a scallop shell, like the one from the Botticelli's The Birth of Venus.

There are tons of random shapes of shells in the Internet, and the only scallop shell '.obj' model I could find was $30 (beyond my pocket).

I'm sure there has to be a DS compatible scallop shell model out there that's free and does not require UV mapping.
    Pretty please.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a realistic looking (that is, not cartoon-ish) badger?

    Nope...

Simple fact...realistic weasels, skunks, badgers, etc simply don't exist. Especially free ones. The pay ones aren't very good/realistic and even with fur created by one of the plugins or Poser dynamic hair, don't get good enough for more than 'distant shots'.

I'm looking for a wristwatch that will fit V4 - preferably one that looks like one of those "tactical" Ironman or G-Shock watches made out of matte black plastic. Also a neckchain with ID tags if possible.
