Reality 4 Not Working With DS4.8

Hello,

Has anybody got Reality 4 to work with DS4.8. I tried reinstalling it and it installed correctly (the plugin is in the correct folder) but the plugin does not show up in the list of plugins.
Any help how to get it working with DS4.8 would be appreciated.

Reality 4 works fine with DS 4.8, Tho iRay shaders an't supported (Paolo will be looking into this after the release of Reality 4.1).

some things to check and/or try

1st - lest see if the plugin is being recognised by DS, goto the 'Render Menu' and see if the option 'Reality Render Editor" appears (see screen shot)

2nd - Did you install the plugin while DS was running, if so then completely remove the Reality plugin, make sure DS isn't running when you re-install the plugin

3rd - Do you have the 'Octane Render' plugin installed, If yes then that is also known to cause problems with the 'Reality plugin'

4th - Do you have 'Reality 2' installed, if yes then remove Reality 4, Rename the Reality 2 folder - Re-Install Reality 4
