transfer head morphs to beard?

I am very new to DAZ. I have made a beard out of chin polys, imported it and uses transfer utility to conform to G1. That works very well, but when I open the mouth the beard won't go with it. Seems logical, so I miss a step. So, how can I transfer the head morphs to this beard?
A second unrelated question: when I import an object with texture files (tif or jpg) and later export the whole figure with these texture files, the original texture files get overwritten, and end up being 0kB, so empty. I have to add that the original texture files are in the same folder as where I export to. Is this known behavior or is there something else that might cause this problem?
Thank you for any hint.

Hi,, I just tell what I do about such non auto-follow morphs.
if you set auto follow correctly,, all morphs should be transfered when your bear fit to, and use these morphs.
no need to use transfer utilties .
1. now your beard is "fit to" G1? (it is genesis1 I hope so,,if it it other unknown figure,
girl1 or etc,,, , I can not help at all ^^; sorry)
if so,, select beard ,and set not "fit to" .
it is important to auto transfer morphs again. if you keep bear fit to genesis.
all latter steps not work. pic1
2 select genesis root. just keep it. not select head or anotehr node.
then go to (or open) parameter tab, then change 2 options.
a check on "show hidden properties"
b check on "Edit mode" pic2
3 you find many hidden proeprties assigend root node. there are mark (M or P) on the left side of each parameters.
but actually you may only need "M" marked parametes (these are actual morphs, without vendor set them wrong)
4, most of face expression morphs, (open mouse, open lips ) etc are set as not -auto follow-
it cause your problem.
5. select morphs which you hope to "auto follow" only.
you can "shift + click" and "ctr + click" to select many at once,
or individually add selection.
6. r-click on the selected parameter (one of M mark which you selected).
it open edit mode sub menu. then select Auto follow>Enable auto follow on Selected properties. pic3
7, it should set all parameters which you selected Auto follow enable.
if you hope to check it,, just click right side gear mark, then see current setting,,
now you should see auto-follow checked.
of couorse, you can set auto follow "on and off" one by one,,by use the gear (if you like it!? ^^;) pic4
8 after "set auto follow" finished, and you can confirm all morphs(M marked) which you need set auto follow enable,
I recommend save tthe modified gen1 as "scene subset".
from top menu File>save as> scene subset.
as auto_followONsubset.duf or bearon.duf etc,,
(just remember the place of subset,,)
it never change real morph files,or genesis.dsf in data,, or original, genesis.duf etc.
the saved subset can keep current auto follow status of hidden morphs.
after save actor (auto follow on) as scene subset,
set hidden parameter as invisible, and go out "edit" mode. (it is reverse step , step 2)
to avoid un necessary mistake.
9 you have done:),,, just select bear, and set bear "fit to" genesis again.
this time, you need only pose controller, not hidden morphs,
then select genesis "head" then go to pose controlls, open mouth etc,,,
now your bear should follow these controllers. (if you set hidden morphs auto-follow correctly)
I stick pic . one of non auto follow default genesist, the other is "auto follow on" gen subset.
and use same cheap mouth tape (but it work,,,,)
both actor mouse open, but now you can see, only subset genesis ,mouth tape auto follow the poze.
For the beard, find the slider for the morph and click the gear icon, then Parameters Settings, and make sure AutoFollow is on - if it isn't the morphs won't transfer (a lot of expression morphs don't auto-follow as it has undesirable effects on things like helmets)..
I've not heard of the texture overwriting issue - please report it as a bug with steps to reproduce. In the meantime, if you have Collect textures set in the export options try turning it off.
