[Why even HAVE a "remember me" option if you're STILL getting auto-logged out!] This is really irritating, as it doesn't even bring you back to the page you were viewing beforehand; sure there's a back button, but it's still irritating always getting logged out of the solitary forum on the entire internet that does this! ⇐ (gratuitously hyperbolic statement, btw…)

Even those ready-made forum templates don't exhibit this behavior; am I the only one this is happening to?

My best guess is that it's a hyper aware security measure or some such…

    I don't often have to log back in, so it isn't universal - it also isn't, or hasn't been, uncommon. Do you access the site on more than one device? Do you open the site from a link to a forum post (e.g.a reply notification) or by going to the front page and navigating?

    it stopped for a few months for me but has returned with a vengence.

    it is related to using multiple devices and browsers, DAZ obviously does not cater to that

    For me it happens the most when I'm on my phone with the forums. I'm logged in, I'll click Commons or some other category, and then it logs me out. It doesn't happen so much with my PC browser, I'm using Microsoft Edge. It still happens but not nearly as often as on my phone. A lot of times too, I'll go to Daz on my phone and I automatically have to log in even though remember me is checked, and then I go to the forums and it logs me out again lol.

    I thought the "Remember Me" option was some kind of AI feature that would write a nice obituary article or memorial poem about you based on your posts, in the event you died of frustration from being logged out so often... I never thought of it actually being designed to keep you logged in... that seems an almost ironic purpose for that feature.

    Are you sure that's what it's really for?

    it's strange in that I am allowed to initially go to my bookmark which is the Carrara forum, open the thread with new activity signed in, then this will pop up and kick me out to the login page then my account.

    The thread I just visited is then no longer marked with the orange unread new post so it knows I have been there even though the split second I was there was insufficient to read anything.

    So yes, no idea what the remember me function actually does other than taunt.

    The store on the otherhand I mostly stay signed in, it's just the forum, I then get signed out of the store too because I visited the forum.

    This feature doesn't work for me on my PC or phone. It's not so bad on my PC because at least the login info is stored by my browser so I just have to hit "Login"...

    On my phone it is the most frustrating thing I experience on a daily basis. My email address and Password are both pretty long, and if I wanted to have a generally "Logged In" experience on my phone in either the Store or Forum, I would have to retype it all over and over and over... add the fact that logging in takes you away from whatever you were browsed to and loads your Account Page is salt in the wound every time.

    Thanks for the reply, yeah I use 3 browsers, none of which is edge, I also rarely visit via the front page, it's always from the same page as I left it when I close out my browser.

    Apparently not, wink as I have 3 that I circulate with, yeah I remember it stopping a while ago, and now it started up again…
