How do I...

:long:How do I save morphs made in daz studio to daz studio?

Ive made the morph, at first it was for genesis then I used the transfer utility now I can use it G2F. I want to save the morph without having to use the transfer utility all the time. I used the shape preset and nothing happens, it doesn't save my morph. I used the character preset, it doesn't save my morph.

How do I save it as a morph to use with other g2females without having to always use the transfer utility?

Hi,, if you have original morph parameter (controller) to change shape, in daz studio already,

    select genesis (or genesis2)
    File >save as>support assets>morph assets.

Thank you, I will try this.

Do I select the head? or the parameter?

I have another question... I bought Chick Lips by Nathy but I can't see the product anywhere in Daz Studio. Where would I find them....or is there a manual somewhere I could read?

Chick Lips is a set of image files - you can use them in DS via the Layered Iamge Editor, or you can use them in an image editor to create new variants of texture files, but they don't have any presets for use in DS.

Hi,, you may only need to select root , or any child node,, to save your original actor morph.
then select the parameter only which you made, when you save as morph.
without it, you save many duplicate morphs.

Then,,, I can not clear see, how your morph work or not^^; you said, you make morph, and you could transfer it,
so that I believe now you have original morph and controller in daz stuido for the gen2.
but you have not saved it as data.

morphs are assigned to root node.
if you made pose controller for head, you need to check head ,when you save morph)

then if you can not save your morph, show what you try by pic, may help a lot.

(sometimes new user may say , make new shape by mixing morphs, and call it as new morph,,then I ask it you ^^;)

    ================
And of course, many new user must need official document about each save option. it is true basic of any 3d tool.
they must try to make original morph, but there is no clear official guide to easy find way,
and can no find t any usable infomation about each preset, or assets.
it is real shame of daz documents.

daz offer only old (though it is good) not much current ds version document, and many of user can not find easy them.
