Keep v4 or upgrade to v6

My question is pretty simple. I have v4 already and was really looking to get v6 on sale but I missed it. I make renders for comic books and will only be using the models for that purpose. I want to know several things. Is it a good idea to upgrade to v6? Will morphs++ work with v6? will the older v4 content I have work with v6? I don't see a Hiro6 or Aiko6 either, is it right to assume they haven't released it yet?

A question:-.
Have you tried using the Free Genesis and Gensis2 figures which come with DS? They will give you some idea of what the newer figures and technology can do. V6 is a figure which uses G2F.
No, V6 is based on the Genesis 2 Female, therefore Generation 6, it has completely different rigging.
V4 content can work directly with V6 via Autofit but only by using this: https://www.daz3d.com/victoria-4-for-genesis-2-female
You can Autofit Generation 4 clothing to Genesis, and then re-fit that to Genesis 2 without buying anything extra. There is also a Victoria figure for Genesis called V5.
If I were you , I would try chohole's suggestion first
You can transfer morphs ++ with genX though if you so wish
there are a few I use quite a lot in spite of buying most the morph packs for Genesis, G2M & F as well.
Aiko 6 is here: http://www.daz3d.com/aiko-6-pro-bundle, without Hiro 6 in this time.
Test Chohole said first.
For figure conversion from V4 to G2F (then V6) you need:
--V4 for G2F UV to use V4 skins.
--V4 shape for G2F to reproduce V4
--A method or a tool to tranfering morphs
--V4 clone for G2F to autofit clothes, shoeas and hair
There are some free ways, but you end paying with a lot of work or less efficient results.

there is an official V4 shape: Generation 4 Legacy Shapes for Genesis 2 Female(s) by slosh
http://www.daz3d.com/generation-4-legacy-shapes-for-genesis-2-female
Genesis Generation X2 produce a V4 shape for genesis 2, so this is not estrictly needed but probably is better
skins and partial skins(makeup, eyes, and so) -------> Free Dimension3D script,

But ear skins are lost, you can add ear texture and next save.
