"Compatible Software: Poser." Does that mean it's not compatible with DAZ Studio?

I'm looking at this product: https://www.daz3d.com/my-rockstar-hair

The product page says, "Compatible Software: Poser." Does that mean it's not compatible with DAZ Studio?

Thanks.

It also says "DAZ Studio Material Presets to Apply All Options (.DS)"

Thank you for the reply. I guess I'm not sure what, "DAZ Studio Material Presets to Apply All Options (.DS)" means.

I'm being cautious now because I just purchased https://www.daz3d.com/messy-for-all-time-hair, but in DAZ Studio I only see material presets, i.e., I can't find a hair object. The product page doesn't say anything prerequisites, but I'm thinking maybe another product is required?

Make sure you read the text of the store page carefully - under "What's Included and Features" for Messy for All Time Hair you can see it only includes "20 Colors for All Time Hair" not the hair itself.

As for My Rockstar Hair, it is an old product in Poser format. The "What's Included shows the hair as .hr2 and .obj as well as materials, so it is complete in itself.

I think (I don't own it myself) that it should work in Daz Studio but it almost certainly will not appear in Smart Content and you will need to load it from:
Content Library - Poser Formats - [your content library] - Hair - Neftis HairSalon

The materials for it should be loaded from:
    Content Library - Poser Formats  - [your content library] - Poses - Neftis_Pose_Mats - RockStar_Hair_Mats

(I got this information from the ReadMe HERE - it is not properly formatted to read, but the info is there.

Messy for all time hair, is not hair but materials for the hair "All Time Hair" that you need to purchase separately

... And it very much looks like All Time Hair itself is not longer in the store. If you bought the Messy add-on textures recently (in the last 30 days) then I suggest you open a support ticket to return it and get a refund as it is no use on its own.

So much for the store search facility! I found All Time Hair HERE - if you don't want to buy it you could still return the textures explaining that you bought it in error.

Thanks for the link. I tried searching for All Time Hair too, but there were no hits, and DAZ usually lists prerequisites for a product, so I concluded it was stand alone. The core product is more than I want to spend, so I'll submit a request for a refund. I recently got a refund for a DAZ product made for Michael 4 that apparently is no longer compatible with Michael 4. Thanks everyone for your responses.

In general, *all* Poser assets can be used in Daz Studio.

BUT, 1/ there is no smart content, 2/ the asset is located in "Poser Formats" and can be tricky to find and 3/ the shaders are not natively done for iray and may need some tweaks.
