Hello,
Is it possible to apply symmetry to an object?
The symmetry tool only applies to characters and their poses.
Thank you for answering me.

What do you mean with prop symmetry?
Do you want to mirror half of the prop to the other side?
Or do you want to mirror the whole object? That can be done if you set scale X to -100%.
Symmetry in a character is mirroring of the bone parameters.
Thank you for your answer, I saw this tutorial which explains it well:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_1omwosuFCY
But that's not exactly what I want to do because it changes all the inscriptions by putting it upside down and in addition I want it to be the same prop.
Take for example. a character holds in his right hand a fan (with inscriptions on the printed fabrics).
The fan is a prop. it is in "child" in the thumb of the hand.
I apply a symmetry to the pose of the character. Of course the prop is not in the right place. I wish her pose was mirrored in the left hand now.
I made a "DIY" in my own way:
I take the fan out of my hand to leave it independent.
I apply the symmetry pose to the character.
I create a "null" object. I slide the fan as a "child" into this null object. I rotate the "null object" 180°. The fan has a good symmetry...But I have to retify the "Z" or the "X" and sometimes I have to readjust the rotation (then I can put my prop in the hand, in the thumb for example) and I save the whole thing. It is these last modifications that I wanted to avoid.
I'm looking for a simpler solution.
What you want to do is mirror across X axis, at least if your character is at world origin.
And if so you can open parameters and invert X-translation, Y-rotation and Z-rotation (invert = add or subtract a "-").
I am not aware of any build-in tools in DS that can do that. But there might be some in the shop like https://www.daz3d.com/daz-studio-4-scene-tools-set-2
Thank you, indeed it is easier
