Genesis figures without all the morphs?

Is there a way to have a Genesis 8 figure without having all the morphs from various packages purchased show up? From a vendor point of view, just having some basic morphs but not every single thing ever purchased show up on the figures would be nice. I'm still trying to figure this out, so there may be a simple solution. Poser allowed you to load custom characters on a base figure without it showing up on every single figure.
Cheers,

It cannot be done directly simply in DS, but there is an addon by Riversoft art that allows to select which morphs you want to have available in DS when you load a figure.

You could do it by using Content Directory Manager to set up a new directory set, after copying your existing one, with a new database then just installing (most simply through Daz Studio itself) the Starter Essentials
These look like good suggestions. I do have all my Genesis 8 male and female purchased content stuff loaded into an external runtime, so maybe unpathing those will work. I'll do some experimenting.
Disabling the external directories worked like a charm, now I just have the basic stuff running and not bogging down the system when I want to do product posing. This is helpful because I have to do a lot of figure restores and it speeds things up considerably.
Wow, never knew that product exists.
I have it in my wish list, hoping it will be on Sale one day.
