Genesis 8.1 expressions

Am just wondering how others feel about Genesis 8.1 expressions?
I personally think they are very frustrating, and are part of the reason I am very reluctant to breakaway from Genesis 8.
My view is:
1. If you click on the head, in the parameter box all the Genesis 8 expressions appear but they don't work on 8.1, so you have to go through the expressions one-by-one to establish which ones actually work with the figure you are using.
2. The expression options are quite illogical. There is a 'brow inner up' but no 'brow inner down' which on Genesis 8 was the fastest way to give your figure an angry expression. Also the eye movement has to be done separately for left and right eye, with no both eyes up/down, side to side. There aren't many times I have call to have each eye pointing in a different direction! There is a mouth close option, but no mouth open - the latter has become jaw down (why?).
3. Obvious controls have disappeared, e.g. eyelids up / down, the lip controls have gone.
4. I actually feel the old Genesis 8 controls are more logical, and you have greater control of the face rig. At first I thought it was just a matter of encountering something new, and with time and practice I would adjust. But 8.1 has been out a while now, and I still feel 8 is better.
Overall, when Genesis 9 comes out, I would much prefer it to be closer to the 8 expression controls. Obviously this is a personal view.
Am I the only one on this? Am I missing something?

Yes - the thread on reactivating the Genesis 8.0 expressions on Genesis 8.1: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/477386/how-to-get-genesis-8-expressions-working-on-genesis-8-1/p1
Ignore the bit about FACS folders, that's wrong.
Thanks Matt.
