Symmetry not working properly

I have been having no issues with symmetry except for one articulated figure I've created.  The right to left symmetry works fine, but it will not do left to right symmetry. It works just fine in the poser version, but this one will not do Left to Right symmetry in DS.  The only way I can get it to do left to right is if I change nodes to "selected" rather than Root.

Any thoughts on this?

The body part names are appropriately named, again, right to left works fine.
