Need Help with a medical project!!!!

Hello everyone!!!!!

I need your help regarding a medical proyect im doing for free for the community here, it includes a web site for parental education regarding what the Doc's looking for during exploration, basic care of common medical problems that don't require medical profesional help, red flags that require a profesional to look at, emergency actions while they get medical help and a bit of basic first aid.... since there's no budget and a lot of legal bumps for using real photos of patients I plan to use 3D illustrations but beside basic rendering tutorials I kinda need to create wounds, certain tools we use deform anatomical parts to resemble post surgery of several kinds also lesions like bumps, deformities, fractures etc on pre saved characters....  

with this in mind what, products, programs, tutorials or videos you'll you recomend me check to learn how to do said alterations to the characters

    I don't know where here is but as it's a community thing then

    • learn photoshop or similar ( GIMP )
    • bullet point each need and maybe run a thread for users to render the images for you ( seeing it is a free community service )

    I'm a pediatrician and live in Mexico where the system is mostly social medicine specially on rural areas, the main part of my proyect is improving surveillance of development and early detection by general practice docs on rural medicine, but we need to get help from parents with this yet they lack proper education regarding when to go for check ups, red flags that must be checked by a profesional, etc... so I'm doing a website for parents and kids with visual lessons (using daz renders for the illustrations since that way I don't need to put real patient photos and also I can simulate practically anything) as a help guide on what we need to check as a doc during a routine checkup, what they need to check at home and what are red flags that require them to take the little ones to the office :) 

    i usually used Daz to create models for human figure drawing but now I'm mixing it up with my profession ;P
