Sneak Preview of Vicky 9? (It's not, but...)

This just ran across my FaceBook page and WOW, pretty impressive. It was done in Blender. Wonder when things will get to the point that this is more 'The Norm' than a rare exception.
Maybe Vickie 19? HA HA!
Video clip of her singing (Asian language) - pretty amazing.

Wow!! Just insane! Thanks for sharing.
It's Chinese.
The hair draping of the shoulder was pretty good.
Hmm.
I'm 99.9% certain this is a CG face pasted onto a real body.
In the original FB thread, MANY people were commenting how FAKE the body looked. Things like in the crook of the elbow, something about thin arms not tapering properly, whatever. It was pretty wild. And would be HILARIOUS if you are right! People criticizing how 'fake' a real body looked. HA HA!
Missing the classic wanna be expert quote:
"IIt's the eyes"
I did a little research and found that it is a real Chinese girl. Not sure why someone would claim a real person's video as their CGI works, but don't be gullible with everything you see. The FB folks who are criticizing the body are just *facepalm*
well isn't that just internet fake information as usual![blush blush](https://www.daz3d.com/forums/plugins/ckeditor/js/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/embarrassed_smile.png)
But with the likes of Ziva Dynamics in the wild, let's not all act as if one could not be forgiven for believing that it was CGI.

What is so special about this character?
I think we get so used to looking at CGI humans that we start to expect humans to look like that. I sometimes find myself staring at a real person and I'm thinking about how I could adjust the shading or the SSS as though I could just tweak a few parameters for the (real) human in front of me.
not completely virtual. it's literally just a deepfake. they just faceswap a 3d model face onto real footage. quote from creator site. "But in virtual production , we take real-life video, and then change the face to realize a symbol of life, so that it looks more like a living person rather than a pure 3D model." Just like Leonides02 stated and as well what mal3 said still being a real girl footage and not cgi. so it's not even impressive, medicore at best since it's just a deepfake and not even full cgi.
Nothing, just a plain o faceswap onto real footage.
And all of EXACTLY THIS brings to the fore that we live in a world where we have to question, research, and debate on whether something is real or not. On the one hand sorta scary, on the other SUPER COOL!
What a time we live in!
My first reaction was "that wasn't done in Blender". ;)
This ^^^^ should be the best comment of the year !
Oh thank you. I was surprised there wasn't more agreement as it is something I catch myself doing quite often. I usually laugh at myself but maybe I should be worried? I'll really start worrying when I see some of my DAZ Studio creations walking towards me in the supermarket!
Kinda reminds me of http://www.sayaproject.com/2019/11/13/「サイエンスアゴラ-2019」にsayaが登場/

My first reaction, what's wrong with her shoulder? Nah. Not impressed.
