Can you apply Genesis skin textures to Genesis 2 Female?

Hello all,
I was just wondering if its possible to apply a Genesis skin texture to the G2F figure? I have a skin texture for Genesis that I really like, but would like to transfer her over to G2F, if possible. Would it be difficult to do this or does anyone happen to know how it can be done? -if it can be done, that is-
Thanks again!

If you have the correct UV set and it is a DUF format preset, then you can simply apply it. If it is not DUF you may have to jump through a couple of hoops. (Not difficult, and only applies to older texture sets (created before DS 4.6) just requires loading the texture set onto Genesis and resaving it.)
Should have answered this one first...Spooky beat me to it...
The vast majority of skins designed for Genesis human females (creatures often have their own UV) used one of three UV's:
Base Female, V5, and V4. The first two are supported by G2F without any further purchases, for V4 UV you will need: http://www.daz3d.com/victoria-4-for-genesis-2-female.
There are handful of skins (probably less than 10) that uses UV's for S5 or A5. For these you will need: http://www.daz3d.com/generation-5-uv-bundle-for-genesis-2-female-s
Hello Spooky, Havos and MJC,
Thamnks so, so much for the replies and how I might go about converting my GEN skin to G2F! I will try and follow everyone's suggestions and see what I can come up with. :D
Thanks again!

Apply your texture
Open the surface tab, with Genesis still selected.
There will be an entry for UV set (Most Genesis female texture sets are Victoria 4).
Note the UV set.
Save as Material preset (which will be saved as a DUF) to another folder or with a different name.
Load Genesis 2 Female.
On the surfaces pane see if you have the correct UV set. If you don't but you wish to use the texture set you will have to purchase the correct UV set.
Apply the new DUF preset you just saved.
