Can you envision using Daz products to create a graphic novel cover? Do you like your favorite Genesis 2 characters to swashbuckle in your own comic panels? Given that the Carrara forum is sponsoring a graphic novel challenge this month, I thought people might be interested in the current fast grab sale in part because so much Studio content comes bundled with Carrara.

Current FastGrab sale in the Daz store.
http://www.daz3d.com/fast-grab-3d-models/

A whole bunch of Studio content is bundled (free) with the purchase of Carrara. Carrara 8.5 and 8.5 Pro are currently at deep discount in the Fast Grab. For me, the Pro version shows up at $85 with all the sales. The Pro version currently comes bundled with the following Studio products. Depending on what people already own, the Studio content that comes bundled with 8.5Pro more than pays for buying Carrara.
(Edit - the two prices are for the store list price / and current sale including platinum club)

    Challenge FAQ

Yes, you can use all those wonderful sets, creatures, and props that you have in your content libraries. No, you don't have to model anything from scratch (but you are welcome to do so).

Because this challenge is for graphic novels, I've attached a quick toon-style render from items in my content library.

According to my store page, the Pro version of Carrara is cheaper than the regular version. Great opportunity to get a lot of bundled content, even though it was no longer on my fastgrab page.

Caustic rhino? Great effect. That village set is fantastic. I jumped on it when it came out.

Is that the rhino that comes in the content browser, or is it a Daz rhino? I took the rhino from the browser, used CA to convert it to a vertex object, and morphed it to a cow.

Silly - but that is me.
