CTRL-Click (CMD-Click) surfaces

Hi.

Can someone confirm this still works in 4.8 because it doesn't seem to work for me. in 4.7, if I selected a surface and copied it and then held down CTRL (CMD on my Mac), I would get a pop-up allowing be to select "ignore images" or something similar. So it would paste the settings but not overwrite the textures.

For example, I could copy the hip settings, paste them to the leg settings but keep the leg texture images instead of overwriting them with the hip textures.

Now, I don't get the pop-up at all.

    That works for applying material or sahder presets, I don't recall it working for copy and paste (it would be a problem there since the keyboard shortcut for paste uses the cmd/ctrl key).

    Odd, I was sure I had used it for copy/paste before. I don't have 4.7 so I can't confirm that though.
