Genesis 8.1 Figure Broken

Hello, for some reason, my figure's broken. PowerPose just shows the Template Set as "Base (Generic)" and hierarchical poses fail to load with the error message "Invalid hierarchy for selected node(s) and "preset_hierarchical_pose" type; no root(s) found.". This issue persists even when zeroing the figure. A new Genesis 8.1 figure works fine when loaded, the broken and working one can even exist in the same scene. Is there a way to fix the figure?

Not sure what your issue is.
Save the pose if it was a work in progress. Delete the faulty Genesis.
As you say that loading a new one is fine then... there's no real problem here. Load a new one, load the pose, change clothes/assets parent to the new Genesis. Go on with your work.
It sure is frustrating to not know what's happening. I can't say I have an idea off the top of my head right now.
But as long as you can go on working, that's the essential.
