$2 Off and BYO Flash Sale Coupons Not Working.

Received an email from DAZ offering $2 off purchases over $10 with the usual disclaimer (no new releases, PC+ items, gift cards, or memberships). DzFire's store is on flash-sale, so I added a couple of items (the Baja Bug and its expansion pack), but was told that the coupon code doesn't work (with no explanation why, as usual). These aren't new releases, and they're not PC+ items. Anyone else having this issue?

    Tried it again when I got home from work this afternoon, and still no go. If it's only good on DAZ Originals, it doesn't say so anywhere in the text that I can see.

    It works for me on PA items except for the PA's currently having flash sales, I've sent an inquiry to DAZ 3D.

    Thanks. I've been wanting that Baja Bug for a while now, and it would be nice to knock a couple more bucks of the discount if I can.

    Marvelous -- the "Build Your Own Flash Sale" coupon isn't working, either. This sale's restrictions are no new items, gifts cards, memberships, items under $2, or anyone whose store is also currently on a flash sale -- none of which applies to the items I was thinking of purchasing. Any ideas?

    I thought that the "Lo-Rez Skeleton Bundle" might be screwing it up, with the system counting it as two items rather than one, but replacing it with a single item still doesn't make the coupon work.

    Yup -- that was the problem, alright. Switched her out with something else, and it worked. Thanks again.

    An idea occurs to me: could the $2 Off coupon not be working for me because the items I was wanting to purchase were on flash sale, even tho' the text of the coupon doesn't exclude flash sale items?

    Well, that's it, then -- the $2 Off coupon only appears to work on DAZ Original items, even tho' the text of the coupon doesn't specify that. I can't get it to accept anything I want from any other category. Kinda narrows my choices, but at least it still leaves me a few.

    How 'new' is new? I've been trying a couple of things that've been sitting in my wishlist for at least a month...and the coupon BYOFLASH is not working. :(
    They're NOT Daz Originals, either.

    Is there any way we can tell how long an item has been in the store? I put in three items that I could swear have been in my wish list for well over 60 days, I get the invalid coupon message. DAZ really needs to have some kind of "New" indicator on items that have been in the store 60 days or less so we don't keep running into this issue of what is new and what isn't.

    There's a "New" banner on the store pages, but unfortunately that doesn't show in the wishlist.

    Unfortunately it doesn't appear on the product page itself either. So even if I click on an item in my wishlist to open the product page, I still can't find out if a product is still new unless I search for it page by page in the store. Frustrating...

    I was in such a hurry to get stuff in my cart before the sale expired, I forgot to say thanks, Mike. Knowing there was a way to tell if something is new really helped.

    As nearly always seems to be the way, I yet again can't afford to take advantage of the big savings with BYOFLASH, a day early and several dollars short! However, I'm hoping that the $2 off one will work for these two:

    Yay, that's something at least. If I'd had the money today I would have bunged Darius HD in there as well and used BYOFLASH, ah well, you can't win 'em all!

    You should find items' release dates on their readme pages - get the SKU from the product page, then look in in the right block of numbers on http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/read_me/index/start

    If by a day early you mean yesterday when the banner was up then you're still okay. The email about it says that it's good through June 09 DAZ time, so the banner is gone but the BYOFLASH code is still working, at least for the next 17 hours or so. If it's still not good timing for you on that code then I'm glad that the $2 off $10 is at least working on the things you want :)

    I'm in the UK and it'll be early on Wednesday morning UK time when I'll be in a position to buy. The $2 will still stand that much is certain.
