Save Camera Position Preset Instead of Full Camera

I have a bunch of camera presets that I had been using in stills but now I want to use them in different frames of an animation. The problem is, when I set the camera preset in one frame then switch to a different frame and try a different camera preset, it replaces the original camera. I have the option of just adding a new camera each time by command clicking on the camera preset but I'd rather just keep one camera and change its position as otherwise, I will end up with 40 cameras.

Is there a way for me to save a camera's position and apply it to a different camera (maybe saving using a different type of preset than Camera Preset)? Or is there a way for me to use Camera Preset to apply the position information to another camera without replacing it?

I was trying the 40 camera route and realized I can't even do that since only one camera can be used at a time for rendering.

What I'm having to do right now is create a new camera from each new preset then copy each of the XYZ translate then XYZ rotate values to the first camera then delete the new camera at the right key frame. It is extremely tedious but the only option I see at the moment.

A Pose Preset or Properties Preset could be used to save the settings and apply them to the selected camera.

Thanks, Richard. Pose Preset is exactly what I was looking for. This will save me a ton of time.

Okay, I started checking the iRay renders on this and most of them look fine. Except in some of them, there is now a blinding bright light that wasn't in the original shot, usually in close-ups. I've checked the Environment settings between the still file and the animated file and they are exactly the same. I even tried saving a Render Preset from the still file and applying it to the animated file and there was no change.

Then I verified that applying the old Camera Preset makes the bright light disappear.

I tried saving the old Camera Preset to a Properties Preset and applying it to the main animation camera, but the bright light only goes away if I completely wipe out the main camera with the old Camera Preset. Any idea what property of the old Camera Preset isn't getting transferred to the main animation camera?

I've confirmed that setting the Headlamp Mode from Auto to Off for the main camera makes it render in iRay the same as the old Camera Preset. However, doing that also makes the Smooth Shaded view turn the character into a dark silhouette, which is unacceptable because that's the view I do most of my posing in.

What is more confusing is that the old Camera Preset has Headlamp Mode set to Auto but for some reason, when it is active, there is no bright glare. Given that both cameras are using the same render settings, I am completely baffled why one shows the headlamp in renders and the other doesn't.

Setting the Render Settings > General > Auto Headlamp to Never solves the problem. I'm just confused why I never had to do that before to keep the headlamp off. It's set to When No Scene Lights in all my stills and there are no lights but I never see the headlamp, even for the exact same camera position.
