Bummer; the one from yesterday didn't show up until today for me.
When this happens to me, I immediately put it on my wishlist, and it eventually comes around again, sometimes with an even bigger discount.
Sometimes it even comes around again during the same sale (hourly, daily, weekly or monthly). Within the last week, an item came up in one of those morning 4-hour flash sales, but by the time I had decided to buy it, I had just missed the deadline. I wishlisted it, and later noticed it had reappeared in an evening 4-hour flash sale the same day, so I bought it.
Any progress?
...Friday's sale page is a bust, Just one other sale offer on Cityscape content that requires one of the new bundles, bonus new releases , or add-ons of the day (pretty much all of which are G9 based), to unlock the 60% discount. Sales here are becoming discouraging as of late. particularly if you don't care to jump on then G9 bandwagon.(and I'm not the only one).
Whatever happened to just plain old sales without any catches?
Even two out of four Daz+ releases today are G9 based, and a third is for 8.1.leaving only the freebie and one other item worth picking up.
I got mine yesterday, 82 hours after purchasing the product. Really great customer service (sarcasm intended).

Michael 8 Pro Bundle: 12 items for $134.95 list price.
Michael 9 Keepin' It Casual Mega Bundle: 12 items for $255.99 list price.
That's out of my league. Both the big as well as the small bundles even though I already own Michael 9. Might pick 2-3 items but that's it.
Since we are talking about the "good old times", then compare to the Victoria 6 pro bundle. That was 16 items, for a price back then of 125 dollars. With the 51% normal release discount for DOs for PC+ members that works out at 61 dollars, or 3.8 dollars per item. It is 10.4 dollars per item for the new mega bundle (again using the standard 51% off), so there is quite a difference.
Having said that, the base price for most character/clothing items is around 20-22 dollars today, compared to 17-20 back in the Genesis 2 days, so that increase is largely in line with inflation. It is just the DO bundles that are a lot more expensive these days. Maybe they were not making much profit on them years back.
It's a big and expensive bundle, but if you are interested in it it may be worth throwing it in the cart to check on what the price comes down to, it seems there may be a few message discounts that might be applying to it.
The only discount I'm seeing is that it comes down to $101 as I already own Michael 9 - still quite a bit more than I'm willing or able to drop on the bundle right now, even if is a nice one content-wise.
That's about what I'm seeing it at too. As I said it's still a big and expensive bundle, but the difference between $180 on the product page and $100 in the cart is significant, and might be enough for other people.
It's not just that, I remember PC+ being $2. or $3. when they are introduced to the shop during the first week (heck sometimes $1.6-$1.7). Now, I rarely find them under $3.5 in the first week...
For me, in DAZ+, it goes from $125 to $100 - $180 is the 'regular' launch price at 30%, I've no idea what the effect of owning Michael is on that price.
But yes, to some, it might be tempting, and a few years ago, I might have jumped at it myself as well.
The 10% discount on the "Michael 9 HD" mega bundle if you buy an Essential New Release is broken (Note, this is not the Michael 9 Keeping it Casual Mega bundle page but the original Michael 9 HD sale which is still pinned in the rotating banners on the front page). The Michael 9 HD mega bundle is listed on sale for $132.78 (or 51% off) since I'm a Daz+ member on the sale page. When I add the bundle to the cart, it remains at 132.78. When I add the 10% off the mega bundle Essential New Release from that sale page (in this case the Body Morph Kit for Genesis 9), the 10% (or stacking percentage) is not taken off. The amount in the cart should be 119.51 (or 10% of 132.79 = 13.28).

....so is the Daz+ annual membership discount only good for Thursday or will it be offered on all weekend?

Only if you have bought something in the last 2 days... If you haven't the price is a "bit higher", probably the 40% off to Friday will be a selling point to some assets. If you did not collect % off-s, you probably will be sitting out Friday at DAZ.

There's no puch card displayed.
Purches are computed from your purchases from the past 2 days: if you made at least one purchase costing more than 2$ (except purchasing a gift card) on one of those days you get one punch, if you made qualifying purchases on both days you get 2 punches.
Having punches means that you get an extra discount on your purchases today.
