I just can't seem to stop spending money in the Daz Store... I was all set until I say that BYOFlash Sale... well at least 3 items are now off my wishlist....

    I can sympathize. If the vendors would just quit making so much stuff I want...It's not my fault. Not really. I can quit any time I want. ;-)

    Hi Chris, I too am guilty of buying stuff and only using it one or twice before moving on to the next shiny thing. I'm trying to go cold turkey but then old London was released...

    Hello and welcome!

    I started packing my lunches for work quite some time ago. Not only does it let me spend more on my addiction, it has had the added benefit of trimming down my waistline and reducing my cholesterol levels.

    I was able to resist the BYOFLASH coupon. For a full 30 minutes. See, I'm in control.

    There's a shoe shop commercial running on TV in my country, which perfectly describes it...
    A young lady is standing in a room filled with shoes. All tyes and colors of shoes. She's musing about her boyfriend's words, who said that she has.. well, too many shoes. She thinks that he might be right, after all, how many shoes does a girl need?
    But! It's not just shoes, it's high heels, runner, boots... and they are in different colors: blue, ocean, aquamarine, purple- Then she realizes that she's missing purple shoes in her collection - No purple shoes?! I need purple shoes! And they just have a sale for 39.95 each pair...!
    She smiles happily.

    See... that's how I feel shopping for 3D stuff. :-)

    Yes, lee, that is how I feel too. New shaders? I have no idea what I will use them for but... NEED 'EM!

    That about sums it up nicely. My no-budget project needs about 10 primary characters, 20 secondary characters and about 20 background characters, as well as a handful of buildings and animals...

    Currently I have enough base products for at least 20 Species, yet alone variants with in the species ( 3 different base minotaurs, a huge selection of morphs, male and female characters.... I could have 10 unique looking character in minotaurs alone) Plus with all the pieces, I could make probable 20 additional species (Start with MS lycan, add a bit of anubis, a pinch of Raw Bacon, and a set of geograph wings from Strigoi, and wha-la, you have a batman), yet I keep looking at more.

    Buildings: I have all I need from freebies. I have 80% I want, I can build the rest If I need, yet I'm still looking for more.

    Clothing: As much as I griped that there isn't a good selection out there, I do have more than I need. Yet still I look.

    Shaders: yup. Have lots, just found a batch I bought a while ago that had gone missing.. you I'll buy that new supershaders super bundle by Denki Gaka as soon as I can...


    The list goes on. I of course have blown that $0 budget right out of the water... and have enough stuff to finish the project, yet I'm beginning to think it really isn't going to happen, as I spend more time shopping than I do on working on it....
