I had a question that is still unanswered. Actually a few. Cause im trying to figure out something and its not helping if they aren't answering it. I know its the summer, so i guess im asking. Is Support really on a summer break? Cause I need help with something here. Something to do with the skins that I brought for Daz Studios. Its been a week now. Maybe more if they don't answer and i'm pretty much an impatient person. I need an answer. Whether they are at break or not.

Whats the point of contacting or sending a ticket if they don't respond within a week?

I've had support requests answered today and even over the weekend. Did you receive an email that the ticket was received when you submitted it? Does it appear on your list of open tickets?

If it's a technical question, someone on the forum may be able to answer it.

I just need an answer for a technical problem I have with Skins builder pro. Its been on the help as a ticket for about 9 days now. Nobody picked it up yet. Anyways, It doesnt seem to work cause it keeps freezing my program everytime i try to use Skin Builder pro. My skins don't seem to work. Because the program freezes or doesn't respond when I use it.

When you hit the final button, or while you're still choosing options? It can take several minutes to process. You could also post to the main thread here: http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/38095/

Okay thanks. I'll check it out. Basically when I used the script, it just froze my entire program and I had to exit. Its been doing that for several weeks since I brought it. No idea whats going on.

How long are you waiting? As Mike says it can take several minutes - especially for the base skin - while DAZ Studio builds the layered texture.

Yeah I've been waiting. And then the entire program goes white with Not Responding. It does that every time I run Skins Builder pro. It does that less then a minute.

What are your computer specifications, especially RAM and processor?

Its an Asus Desktop PC. The Model is M51AC Series. Processor is Intel Core i7-4770 CPU @ 3.40 GHz. Ram is 16 GB. Its a good computer. It has NVidia, I think its the right spelling.

How long do you wait for it to start responding again?

Like about 45 seconds to a half. After i clicked accepted it, the mouse just freezes first. I can still move it around, but it doesn't change icons. I click on the program and it turns white saying Not Responding. So I wait for another ten seconds. If it turns white and says Not Responding, I gotta know that there is something wrong with my computer. Its used. I know the memory is bad and I need to buy a new one, but its the only time it does that to Daz Studios. So I cant use the script without the program turning white and not responding. Maybe im using it wrong. I dunno.

Okay. I think its my computer itself. Its still dying. I have the Nvidia graphic card thing, but the memory or ram, I dont remember, is dying I think. I need a new computer.

Not responding just means that the application is busy - don't click on things and it will come back. The generation of the actual texture, as opposed to some of the additional effects, can take that long - though your machine has a faster processor than mine. The mouse pointer seems to clear after a few moments, I think that's when the script itself has done and DS is starting to build the new textures. If it's still busy after an hour, with no clicking to risk interrupting it, then you may have a problem but give it at least that long.

Alright. Thanks. I'll try that and see.
