Problem with Cinema 4d and Big Cats

edited December 1969 in The Commons

Hello^^.

I got an Problem with Cinema 4d. As soon as i cut the Part of tjhe Millenium cat and put it into the Pose Morph Tag the Mesh is messed.

If i put the whole intact Mesh into the Morph Tag the Animation works good without clipping.

Funny thing is that only the headpart of the cat does trouble. the rest of the body works well with morphs.(After Cuitting and merging)

Is it maybe possible that the maker iof Millenium big cats does added a Copyprotection to the mesh ?

I tried iot with cinema 14 and 16 but both the same problem.

I try to merge 3 Bodyparts to a single Mesh.
Has anybody an idea what to do ?

I'm not familiar with C4D, but in general a morph relies on having a list of deltas or absolute positions for the vertices that matches the list of base vertices so cutting and pasting, except perhaps at group boundaries, is asking for trouble. Since it is only affecting the head i do wonder if you have the mane loaded, which is a separate body part. Are you using the Millennium Big Cat or the DAZ Big Cat 2? How are you getting them into C4D?
