Hello All,
I am a lover of RawArts works, particularly the muscular ladies. However, one problem I have found when using RawArts characters in that he/she doesn't split the head and body morphs, there is only one slider for all. This is disadvantagous to me when I want to just want to use the body but keep the face of another figure.
So what I would like to know is of there is a way for me to use a RawArts body on a figure, but keep the head, or use another (separate) head morph on it. I would like to know how to do this for both Genesis 3 and 8 figures as I have RawArts figures for both.
Thank you,
Geo

I couldn't agree with you more. it's why i rarely purchase from rawart. His quality and style are great, but unusable for me if I can't split the head from the body.
You could try this product and let us know how it works https://www.daz3d.com/shape-splitter

Well, it is mostly his monsters forms and muscular figures I like. Figures such as The Bride and Dragella are staples for a good mucular base character. I almost never used the full 100% of the figure as to minimize facial distortions. Then I have to find a face that works with the partial morph so it looks good. You replied to another fairly recent post of mine in regards to creating hot redheads. I had posted a render of a vampire lady that looks like Madonna (in the 80's). Her body is Raw Arts' "The Bride". However, with Genesis 3, the pickings are slim and I only two figures from RawArts that have a body I like, the problem is that they have features on the head that interfere with the end result. The best solution would be to stop the head from being morphed. While I do appreciate the link to a possible solution in regards to that Shape Shifter utility, the $40 price tag was a kick in the teeth. So I will not be purchasing that any time soon, unless it goes on a drastic price cut sale.
Thanks for the info, though.
Oh, well thanks for that info...then it isn't of any use to me. One of the things I love about RawArts figures are the details in the skin.
You could use the shape splitter to split the head and body, and then dial the head morph to -100 whilst leaving the normal rawart morph at 100% (or less if desired). This way the HD body would remain as normal, but the head should be dialed back to that of G8F and you can then use your desired head morph. In theory some HD in the rawart head morph would remain active, but I doubt you would notice that.
These are 2 ways to deal with morphs.
Remember to get the Head Split Deformer Tool, link in the description.
Like Havos stated, below is the Shape Splitter tool used on the Chronos character, Negative morphs applied to both the body and head separately, allowing 100% use of the textures. Gender conversion for the female character. TD
A lot of RawArt's sets really wouldn;'t split well anyway - there is just too much change in the overall form to allow a satisfactory join.
