Photoshop 3D for Bridge for DAZ studio 4.8 wont install

I cannot get Photoshop 3D for Bridge for DAZ studio 4.8 to install. I have photoshop on my computer.
I get this message - which settings dialogue?

Install Manager cannot find a required path. The package for "Photoshop 3D Bridge for DAZ Studio 4.8+ (Win 64-bit)" requires that the installed path for "Photoshop CC, CS6, CS5, CS4 (64-bit)" be defined. Make sure that a path for this application is present on the "Applications" page of the "Settings" dialog, then try again.

Any help gratefully recieved

Robert

It needs the path to where Photoshop is installed on your machine.

Click on the gear icon at the top right of the interface in DIM, then set the path to Photoshop in the Applications tab.

If that doesn't work, what version of Photoshop do you have installed?

When setting the path in the Applications tab make sure you set the application and version number too.

    And sorted

  • I know this question has been previously asked and have followed the recommended solution but still cannot get Photoshop 3D Bridge to install

    ver - DAZ Studio 4.8 (Win 64-bit)
    OS - Win 7 64-bit
    Photoshop CS2

I've checked the install path for my Photoshop and just cannot see anything wrong with my config - are there any other suggestions I could try?

    Thanks, P

It needs CS5 or higher to work.

    I got that from the product page :) ,, I don't have photoshop so I can't check

I would like to have a version that isn't very expensive nor a rental, but I've not found one yet, so I still use GIMP.I had a copy of CS2  a long time ago that I got from a job, but I can't find the disks for it anymore.

  • Phtoshop and lightroom only cost $9 and change a month and you always have the latest version and a host of resources. You can rent it by iteslf from Adobe.

The newest install manager (October, 2017) is different.  Here's what you have to do. Click "Show Details" at the bottom right, then click Show Application List...

Then I was able to edit the external application paths including Photoshop (where it was looking for the previous version of Photoshop CC) to point to the newest directory.

    The install continued without error.

I'm not sure why my nice captures look blurry in this editor.  I must be attaching the screen shots wrong.  Maybe they will clear up when i post?

  • this was the exact way to deal with the install issues. Thanks to whoever posted the instructions.

  • Which specific path should the file go into?

    I have mine in C:/Program Files/DAZ 3D/DAZStudio4
