V4 to G2F

quick question...does this work for Poser with dson? Meaning it will make useable my V4 content to G2F? do the textures also work? Can the clothes etc also be changed?

    Bear in mind, however, that there's no AutoFit in Poser so the benefit will be limited to the UV set and V4 shape.

    Thanks Richard...so basically it wont work for clothing but it will let me use V4 characters. My impression is that textures on most of the G2F are better than most of the V4 ones so will probably use those. Autofit for clothing is only for DS...

    If you have DS running, you can always autofit the V4 outfit using that, then save as a Figure/Prop asset and create the poser companion files. After this the outfit should work fine on G2F in poser, not ideal, but better than nothing.

    Thx Havos, might be worth the trouble when I have some time. have DS tho dont care for it. Hear they have a new renderer so might need to look again. :)

    You don't need to use DS for anything other than to make the conversions. Once you know what you are doing, it is just a few clicks to make any outfit V4 compatible. Please note, as with any auto converted outfit, results do vary, long dresses/skirts cause problems, and high heeled boots/shoes are a disaster.

    cool, decided to stick with poser even tho I like the render of DS better. Wont go into why, doesnt matter, just tried DS8.....anyway thank you :)

    It will let you use V4 textures. If you want to use V4 morphs you'll need to convert them with GenX2.
