literally ... daz studio crashed itself?
used 420 last night (technically  4am yesterday) no problems .. nice Iray render only about 20 mins 4k x2x (yes, my titan is old)

so started it a while ago .. tried twice same message. 
DAZStudio.exe caused ILLEGAL_INSTRUCTION in module "C:\Program Files\DAZ 3D\DAZStudio4\libs\iray\libneuray.dll" at 0033:00000000B0EBC841

this problem is not bothering 412 which I'm using right now. just tested again 420 crashes 415 runs

actually the render was no dome .. so the image through the side window is a photoshop layer. 
I was actually pleased with how well it performed 
There was a reboot earlier in the day but that's suposed to help things not make them break

    Have you tried restarting the eystem? it's Iray crashing, it may be that the driver has been left in such a state that it is going to keep crashing without a restart.

    the system did restart between the times.  If it hadn't would have done it .... but one would think the video driver would also cause issues with 412 and 415?  But will check after next rebott. 
    I used both 412 and 415 and did probably a half dozen renders after I posted the comment.

    4.20.x.x has updated versions of Iray.

    I'll be rebooting again shortly .and this may have fixed it... but I noticed an issue with the launcher for ESO online... it won't function if I can't connectly to the server so that fix might have made daz happy? It is working now.

    My modem was having issues and the question  would be wil the new Daz not load if it can't check with the server? 
    From a programming standpoint I don't like getting a message every time I start that my configuration has changed and I wouldn't be able to use my connect content unless I hope date.
    Why does this bother me... there is no connect.. not even installed .. a smart program would check before it asks dumb questions.

    I don't know if this is related, but the DIM isn't accepting my user ID or password.   I'm guessing the server that authenticates users is down???
