pictures won't upload to forum

googling produced no help. 
currently I can not attach a file to a post it just sits there doing nothing 
yes they are jpgs yes they are under 1m 
looking back on my discussion history there are ones there that show their uploading images.

    if using latter use Firefox app

    I'm getting about the same upon testing. The file won't attach. Will report it.

    I am trying to remember whether this predates my switch to broadband 5g from hughes net ... in Feb.

    After testing further it seems to be browser specific. It isn't working in Chrome for me but another mod tested and it is working in Firefox.

    bet it was something in a chrome update.. maybe a setting I'll check.

    I tend to run a lot of windows and firefox runs everything (or did) as one big process and it could get bulky and if one died you had to restart all.
    Chrome runs each window in a separate process one hangs close it and doesn't effect the rest.

    thought I had a work around... I was able to upload a png image to my gallery twenty minutes ago and it won't take jpgs (but apparently has relented) this is from the win 7 machine earlier were from the win10
    both of the newest pictues in the gallery were uploaded in the past hour but won't upload to forums.

    Okay, I can upload to the gallery on both machines... win 7 and win 10 ... both using chrome 
    So the issue has to be some extra level of security or such on the forums that is not on the gallery.

    I sometimes have this issue and it's only in Chrome. Edge has no such problem.

    This is probably fixed, but it used to be that an extension in uppercase would not upload

    Only the forum has this problem. 
    I'm able to upload from both machines to the gallery but not here. 
    Chrome in both 7 and 10. 
    I did upload images to the forum, same computers, same browsers. 
    Edge didn't install on this machine ... I tried. 
    Win 10 won't install either ... tried for two weeks even with high end support from MS. 
    I had to get server 2019 despite the fact that win10 is supposed to work with dual processors. 
    But had a crash that took out some files that only "trusted Installer" can replace and trusted installer does not like the USB version it was installed from as a source of repair items ... so I have to stop playing with Daz ...burn the DVD and tryrepairing it again.

    I swtched from Hughes Net to a broadband dedicated hot spot and there may be some protocal that needs to be adjusted .. but normally you get a message that something needs to be adjusted, I probably have 3000 pics on FB (including a couple thousand renders) and those uploads still work and the gallery works.
