Where did these raccoon eyes come from?

I have Daz Studio 4.20 and recently replaced my aging monitor (50 Hz) with a gaming monitor (165 Hz) and I am getting flat black where the whites of the eyes should be. I'm not saying that's why but that is the only change I made recently to my system. A video explaining Iray rendering says use Mitchell rendering to get rid of the raccoon eyes but it's not helping anymore. I'm getting this on some stock charecter MATS but virtually on every one of my Face Transfer characters. I'm using a GEFORCE RTX 2080 graphics card. Any ideas or suggestions for what might help?

Do your Render Settings have a value greater than zero for the max path length? If so try setting it to -1, or increasing it.
