Saving Aniblocks

I have created an animation using 6 rows of Genesis 8 Alive Aniblocks in Animate 2. How do I save the whole animation as an Aniblock and where is the option to save? When I right-click in a spare space the option to save and bake is there but where are the Aniblocks saved too! Cheers Cheers

Do you have the full version of Animate 2, or just the lite version that's included with DS?

I imagine you thought that Animate2 directly creates a file in a directory, but it does not.
The manipulation is done, in two steps, in the timeline of Animate2 and the timeline of DazStudio.

    Step 1:

    • In Animate 2 select all the aniblocks you want to merge.
    • When you select Bake To Studio Keyframes, baking is done right away in the DazStudio timeline (at this point you can already see that the DazStudio timeline has been modified)

    Step 2:

    • Next, to create your new aniblok that merges all aniblocks affected by this bake, you need to select Create aniblock From Studio Keyframes.

Your new aniblock will be inserted at the start of the animate2 timeline.
After selecting it with a right mouse click, you can rename it.
Then, always with a right click of the mouse, you can save it in the directory of your choice.

  • Many thanks! Cheers
