Well, to start, your Source should be Michael 4, he should be in the list. If not, you have to load the figure directly from the .cr2, or drag him into the tab from the library. You can load M4 and apply the character you want and get the values from the figure in the scene. The GenX morph list won't show anything more than the basic M4 set, so you must add the morph injections (any you might need). Use the buttons at the top, or drag and drop the pose file(s) from the library.

Right-click -> All -> Get values from figure in scene. Any morphs used will load up their values into the list. If you miss a morph set, add the injections, and reload the values. You could also drop the morph file directly into GenX and it will add the morphs and fill in the values, but it won't show on the figure, so you'll have to trust it if you don't apply also to M4 in the scene. (There is more than one way to get it done).

After that my eyes glaze over, too many options to remember...

I tried and got further with your input and watched the video again tying to follow closely, in the end I have no idea how to get this to work, thanks for the help though I really appreciate it

Im not sure man in the mirror can be applied the way I need it to be, I do not want just one face, I guess there is not a way to simply transfer a finished face over (the sliders dont come with the set I had to make them) ,the faces I would want have little from various faces combined, I was thinking this product could transfer whatever shape face was made

If I am wrong and a full a head morph (made up from various sliders) can indeed be transferred to genesis from m4 please let me know, thank you

It can transfer whatever shape you have put on M4, that is why it exists (within reason, the mesh is not the same, in fact it is lower resolution than M4, so there will be some approximations). I am not an expert with this, but it can be done.

Make your character on M4. Load up the same morphs into GenX, the default values should load in also. GenX needs to know which morphs are being used to be transferred. Right-click -> All -> Get values from figure in scene to be sure GenX has the same values as the M4 character. Select only the head morphs in GenX if you want only the head. Create a single morph if that's all you need, or selected morphs. If you transfer all morphs, you end up with dozens of extra morphs on the Genesis figure, often repeats of what is available. If the characters use custom morphs, then you can transfer all of them, or make one for each character. They all end up in the same place, so that you will have a set of sliders to manipulate, either one full character head at a time, or individual morphs.

Create a controller, or create a preset, if you want. Try the different modes to see which you would prefer. Again, there is more than one way to do it. When you transfer, the morph location should be in the "\data\DAZ 3D\Genesis\Base\Morphs\" folder (I think GenX makes the "D3D Gen X" folder, you can see the Output Folder location at the bottom of the tab). Supply a name for the character (second box) when prompted. When done, check that there is a morph file in the appointed folder. The next time you load a Genesis figure, it should have new People - Generation X entries, which you can dial in.

One early place I got stuck was finding man in the mirror morphs to load into genx

and in the video I saw that the face he uses (v4 face to bring onto genesis), has a slider on it, since man in the mirror's do not thats why I thought it wouldnt work but if I can just find where the morphs are I could have tried to keep going

also whenh I clicked load figure and went to folder m4 was in says folder empty or nothing there

the m4 figure I loaded myself into the scene had the face mrophs applied to < did click-get values from figure

when I went to transfer got these 2 errors

    Thanks North

I don't have that product, but according to the ReadMe, the morphs appear to be custom-made or presets all in pose files in "/Runtime/Libraries/Pose/Tosca/ManInMirror/" 1Full/2Body/3Head. You can drag them one at a time onto GenX, and it should have all it needs. Transfer as a single morph, all non-zero values (I suppose, maybe all values, nothing like trying it). If you don't apply the same morph to M4 in the scene, getting the values will set them all zero again, so just drop the morphs on to GenX one at a time.

If the poses are done properly, they should zero out what is not needed, and set values for what is needed. To be sure, you could zero all values before dragging in the next one. Select -> Transfer: On for all Non-zero values. You can see the status at the top next to the Apply Pose button. M (number of Morphs), V (entries with Values) and T (selected for Transfer). Then Transfer. Name your morph. Rinse, repeat. You'll get a controller for each morph transferred the next time you load the target figure.
