Environment Map Bug?

Just wondering, has the Environment Map bug been fixed with later versions?

I cannot save a scene file with a blank Environment Map (Render Settings).  Daz Studio insists on loading DTHDR-RuinsB-500.hdr again when this slot is blank, which messes up the scene lighting.

As a temporary fix, I have to load the EM slot with a small black square texture.  This texture file is restored when loading scenes and doesn't mess with the lighting.  But, this bug is still annoying.

This started happening in DS 4.15, when EM settings were moved to option nodes.

No, it is not fixed as of 4.20.1.43 Public Build. You would think that it would be very important that a scene saved with "Include Render Settings" would be reloaded with the correct render settings. I reported this bug a year and a half ago. My help request was marked "Solved", because the said they reported it to the developers.

I just thought of another way to deal with it.  I can save my black texture as a .hdr file from Photoshop, then rename it to DTHDR-RuinsB-500.hdr.  Sure, I'll make a backup of the old file, but I think this will help me to not worry about it anymore.

Couldn't you change the drop down in the env settings to Scene Only instead of Dome + Scene if that's what you're trying to accomplish?

Well, I still use lighting from sun, so out of habit, I use "Dome and Scene" for everything.
