    I found exactly what I was looking for, but now I'm struggling to do something simple like opening and closing the robe.  I can't find a dial that lets you do that.  Any ideas?  And is there a way to get ahold of a vendor directly?  Thanks!

    If you look at the promos, there are no where it is open, so I am certain that it isn't made for being opened.

    If you are lucky, then the belt is the only thing holding it together, so you could try to remove the belt and see if it opens during simulation.

    As it isn't its own item you have to remove it from the mesh, and can be done in different ways.

    Export it to a modeller and remove the belt there. Technically it would be a new object you are importing, where you first should do transfer rigging.

    Or select the geometry editor in DS, and select a polygon on the belt and select connected. With some luck the belt will be one connected item. And then hide it.

    For an opening robe, you'd want something like the robe from "High Class Lingerie for Genesis 8 Females" by lilflame over at Renderosity, though it will need some other textures, as it's rather see through, which is why I didn't link it, so you'll just have to google it.

    I vaguely recall ironman had an opening bathrobe for both G3F and M on this site. It wouldn't be dForce, but as a G3F/M asset, it should be easy to convert to G8.

    I think that vendor has some very high quality garments and I almost bought that robe. However, like you, I want one that opens (how on earth does she put it on?) and I can't find any of that kind of quality.  I have one that opens but it distorts badly as it does so and explodes when I try dForce - so there's a challenge for the PAs.
