I don't use Daz Connect or its library either.  Because there is no option to remove the Daz Connect library from the Content Directory Manager, I suspected that Daz Studio wants the library in place.  Not knowing if manually removing the library from my hard drive would cause a problem for Daz Studio, I closed Daz studio, manually deleted the Daz Connect library from my hard drive, and relaunched Daz Studio.  Daz loaded fine AND created a new, empty Daz Connect library.

Studio will always regenerate the library but as long as you don't let Studio log-in nothing will ever be writen to it.

It isn't a real folder anyway, it is a container that ahs the aggregate of all the /data/cloud/1_SKU/ folders for content installed through Connect across all active Daz Studio Format content directories.

Thank you, I freed a lot of Space on my C:Drive by deleting this folder.

Now Studio asks me for default Resources and I wonder if I can manually download those or do I let Connect do this, which I really do not want.

Yes you can manually download most items from your Product Library in your Account. May have to twig the CMS to reread all the metadata to have them seen in Smart Content.

I have no Idea where to finde the default rescources in my Product Library, I looked and not Idea how to tweak the CMS thing and I do not use Smart Content.

All is good, there is a download in DIM, which I do not mind to use for those things, just do not like Connect.
