It depends on the UV mapping and if the screen is it's own submesh.

The maps for the monitor and screen maybe seperate (which is ideal) but they could be baked together. If they are baked together you have to edit the screen section with the image you want on screen. If they are seperate then just insert yours, however if the ratio is off you will need to nudge the materials vertical and horizontal positioning and maybe scale to get it to fit. This in itself may skew your image and you may need to crop it out and edit in photoshop to be the same as the original images aspect ratio.

Great answer. I do all of those things. Occasionally you swap out the image and it renders flipped so you have to flip the original so the it appears the right way up when rendered.

In Daz Studio, click the TV in the scene tab, and expand the surface tab.

If the screen (image) has it own surface tab, click on that.

If using Iray, then the image will probably be present in base colour, and potentially also emission.

If you then click on the image in base colour you get an option for browse, where you can browse to where your wanted image is. It will likely be too large, but you can then, again after click on the image, select image editor, and adjust the scale and offset.

If it is hard to get right, then you can take the original image in base colour into an image editor, and adjust your wanted image so it matches the original. After saving that, you can replace it in the surface tab, like described above,

it depends entirely on how the TV is modelled

if it has a separate map for the screen or an atlassed texture for the lot

the later you will need to do in an image editor

even if it does have a separate texture it depends on the UV coordinates how it fits

I have many sets with the most weirdly UV mapped TVS

If you cannot edit the the screen then just create a primitive plane the same size and place it over the existing screen, then apply a .jpg of your choice as the surface...

Yes, it is the same procedure.

Although if you want to add a logo to a shirt, you could also instead do it with layered image editor. That works like simple layers in an image editing programs.
