Red hair twins?

I'm looking for a boy and girl model to be twins with red hair. I could put red hair on any ol' model but the eyebrows also have to be red which is a bit hard to come by.

You can get eyebrow sets in the shop. If you cannot find models that have a "no brow" option, there should be an eybrow removal tool available in the shop too.

..I have the Brow Removal tool and Real Eyebrows for G3.  Zev0's Skin Builder products create the base skin without brows and has a brow overlay with which you can adjust the colour.  I also believe that Slosh's UHT2 Hair Shader can also be used on fibremesh or strand based brows.

I'm also looking for paler skin and maybe freckles.

...Skin Builder lets you create any type of skin tone (I even did a true albino one) and has different overlays which include freckles. Keep an eye on the current sale and associated flash sales as Zev0's store pops up with reasonable frequency. It's available for both G3 and G8F..

Erynn for G8F certainly makes a nice ginger with freckles. If you really want to make twins look alike, perhaps the cross-gender options Daz has available could let M & F use the same skin. A store search for "freckles" does show some decent redheads.

    Has no brow options too.

I meant more adults or teens.

  • you know what else? you should be able to choose the shape of the figures you want and then give them the textures of any other character from that gender and generation. And if you have a UV swap tool it's even more flexible. I do this all the time with mine. Or, same difference... and I'm totally making up these names, they're not products:

Let's say Brian has the pale/freckled/no brow option but he looks like Alfred E. Neuman and that's not what you're after. Luigi has the shape you want but, well... he's Italian. So load Brian, zero out his character shapes from Parameters or Shaping, and dial up Luigi. Poof. Luigi shape, Brian skin.

  • Oh, and another option I've used - if they don't have a no-brow option and they're not G3 so that great eyebrow tool doesn't work... open the face color map in GIMP (free image editor) and clone the skin next to the brows, over the brows. You'll have to repeat the select-the-spot-you-want-to-copy-with-the-fuzzy-brush-and-click-to-cover-the-eyebrow process maybe 20-50 times per eyebrow, depending on the size of the brush and how careful you want to be, but it's a simple trick that accomplishes the same end.

    ..I just design my own.

For young to teen boys Growing Up Skins for G3 or G8 Males has clean "hariless" skins as Skin Builder only works with the female UV.  To use Skin Builder you would need the G8M  F UV Swap utility

Is that the boy or the girl?

...a 9 - 10 year old version of my character Leela.

Currently working on her brother who is a couple years older. .The trick is getting s sense of family resemblance without just making him an identical male twin (the latter which s easier)

I have both the Growing Up Skins for G3M s well as the G3 UV swap utility to apply Skin Builder skins and overlays.

  • Well, a technique I used at least once, when I needed a brother and a sister for a scene... I picked a boy character I liked and a girl character I liked, and then used something called GenNext-Master to convert the relevant girl face/head shape morph over from G8F to G8M, and the relevant boy face/head shape over from G8M to G8F, then dialed the converted girl's-head morph to 50% on the boy, and dialed the converted boys'-head morph to 50% on the girl.

I actually had to go back and look at my notes to remember what I had used to do this, and apparently its something from GitHub, and is made by someone named Singular Blue, or TugLLC, and it is located over here.

Olesya for Genesis 8 Female (Sangriart — Renderosity) has a great skin that you could then add freckles to. This was a character I put toghether in 2021 with some freckles to bring out the paler skin. Throw some red hair on that and you have the idea, I'd say.

You can read it on the github webpage by clicking on the "Readme" line - but this is all it says (see attachment)

Just remove the brow in Gimp / Photoshop.

Or Zev0's Brow Remover does a good job, I just rarely use it as I make other adjustments besides removing brows.

Must admit I have always found GitHub to be appropriately named. It is one of the most user unfriendly libraries I have come across.
