Anyone know of any cloth shaders other than the silk and velvet (opposite ends of the spectrum - perhaps) that are included with Daz 4.8.

    Well there's this, https://www.daz3d.com/dg-brocade-and-satin-shaders-iray.

But there don't seem to be any shaders for "flatter" cloth items yet, like cotton, denim, etc.

This might come in handy, as it includes normal maps:

I apply the Iray fabric default shader, remove the red, then use the bump&normal; maps of this set. There's usually some tiling in the image editor neccessary. You can then either use the image that comes with the set, or just adjust the colors to your liking without the image.

The brocade and satin shaders are a start, but I'd like to see something like Ye Olde Clothe bundle, for Iray.

    Cheers,

    Alex.

I guess you'll have to wait a bit, until the PAs catch up with the new toy. ;-)

Thanks for the replies and the link, I'd missed that, although not what I'm looking for.

I've made my own, and it's ok as a PH, but needs more work before I can really use it.
